May I present to you, my resume
Epidemic, often known as "Epi" is a spirit. He's
not particularly benevolent or malevolent and
while many consider him much like the horseman
known as pestilence, Epi is not actually related.
Epidemic's existence started with the bubonic plague
and due to his usual costume, one could assume that
he posed as a plague doctor back in the day. Many
people seem to see him when they are suffering great
illness but he still does not exhibit malevolent
behavior. Usually, he'll just stop and chat for awhile.
Epidemic doesn't necessarily cause illness as much as
he simply is illness and outbreaks. In reality, he
tends to be fairly well humored if not sometimes a
little macabre.
